Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract

This ingredient has been used on the skin in traditional herbal medicine, often because of its ability to providing soothing and calming benefits.


Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Extract

This plant is indigenous to Asia and Europe and is renowned for it's soothing and calming properties.

One of the exciting uses for this ingredient in our Frankly Eco products is that we can use it as a substitute for beeswax, which helps us stay vegan. This wonderful ingredient helps protect the skin by contributing to the lipid barrier that retains moisture.

Originating from Aztec and Mayan culture, Theobroma Cacao (Cacao Seed Butter) is known to enhance skin health. As a natural moisturiser it contains essential fatty acids and phytosterols forming a rich lipid barrier to help prevent moisture loss.


Has been used for over 800 years by the Aztecs and Totonacs for its sweet aromatic fragrance and flavour. Vanilla is a highly complex mixture of natural compounds and is known for it’s anti-oxidation benefits, and the ability of its aroma to give a sense of soothing and calmness to infants.
